bkrishnan82 Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 hi,we are deploying the jasper server as WAR in the geronimo application server.What happens is that when we restart the app server (geronimo) with the jasper server delpoyed in it, the jasper server tries to connect to the DB. When DB is down the jasper server throws a exception and shuts the app server(geronimo)down. Is there a way to avoid this.regards,Krish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tkavanagh Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Krish, I've been doing most of my testing on tomcat and jboss. However, the jasperserver.war is structured as a standard web archive. I am surprised that geronimo is having a higher level problem when a contained application has a problem. swood Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I agree with Tony. There is a Geronimo problem with the server shutting down, not particularly JasperServer.
