marianol Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 I assume you are talking about Jaspersoft Studio, in that case you can use the Control Key in MacOSX (I think this will be the same in a Windows if not try Alt) to turn off the auto-snapping of elements.Also in Jaspersoft studio instead of drag & drop elements from the palette you can select the element and then "draw" the size and position you want in the report.M Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
donna.ragsdale Posted March 2, 2015 Author Share Posted March 2, 2015 Thank you for your timely response. I am using Jaspersoft Ireport Designer 5.6.0 on Windows 7. I could not get Ctrl or Alt to work as suggested. It's not a big deal to go to Tools/Options and check "Turn off magnetic attraction" - I was just hoping there was a shortcut.
