sherife
I have ireport version 3.0 and am wondering if there would be any issues to run it on a windows 8 laptop? and what version would you recommend to upgrade to in order to run on windows 8.Thank you much. darth_fader
Vista is the last "officially" supported OS for IReport, now that's been officially de-supported they won't be moving to officially support Win 7 or 8. Best option isto install and see what happens. No harm in trying. https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/getting-started-ireport-designer#System_Requirements
nizam27391
Its best if you used what they recommended.. Jaspersoft Studio also similar to iReport and I think better. I used both and I fancy Jaspersoft Studio more than iReport.
hozawa
"Jaspersofrt Platform Support" page 6. Windows7 is supported but not Windows 8. To Jaspersoft Studio instead of iReport on Windows8.10 IReport and Jaspersoft OLAP Schema Workbench require XP SP2, SP3 Vista SP2, 7 SP1
