Hi all, I have this problem of calculating percentage for each row based on the total of faculty which ends as group. As you can see above, the blue - number of each row the red - total for each faculty the black - the percentage i'm trying to calculate Now what I want to do is to calculate the percentage for each row based on the faculty, the formula to get the percentage will be black = (blue/red)*100 I've try working on calculate when group faculty ends. But the value is incorrect as it get the final value of blue. Please help me with this. Thanks

Hi all, I have this requirement to generate a report with dynamic columns which is the course code. I manage to do this with the crosstab. But I have another extra details (GPA,CGPA,Result) which require me to add extra column to the crosstab.The data is retrieved from the database already. I'm not able to do this as there is no option for this. So any idea on how I can add extra column to the crosstab? Thanks

Its best if you used what they recommended.. Jaspersoft Studio also similar to iReport and I think better. I used both and I fancy Jaspersoft Studio more than iReport. -
Hi, I want to ask if this things is possible. Our client want to have a report where its input controls / prefilter is dynamic based on user role. Let say, user1 is an admin and user2 is a normal user. In one of the input control named Department, the select list will show all Departments for user1the select list will only show IT department for user2Also, can we disabled the input controls for certain user / roles. Let say we want to disable Department input controls from user3. I've read a lot of search on this matter and based on my research, it seems cannot be done. But want to reconfirm with you guys. Thanks..

Hi all, I follow the tutorial based on this link https://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/jasperreports-authentication-cookbook/v56/token-based-authentication#TokenDecryption. It works when I use the user which already in the jasperserver. But if the user is not in the system, I received and error saying nullpointerexception. If I removed the encryption, and just use plaintext, it just works charm even if the user is not yet created. Can I know and can someone please help me with this. Thanks

Hi all. I just want to ask something that really bothers me. Everytime I reformat the data in Jasper Report, I cannot use the filter functionality. Meaning I have the column title Year. In the database the field is datetime format.. But when I display it,I reformat it to show only Year. I noticed that everytime I made changes to the column data, I cannot filter it. Btw. I'm using Table components. So can I know how can I fix this? Thanks
