Report is blank for when main dataset query is running for more than 180 secs?

Hi ,

We have to generate a huge data extensive report for which MySql query is returning data in more than 180 seconds, due to which report is becomes blank, even though in the database the query is running and feching the data in background.

Please guide to increase this time out of 180 seconds.

There is only one query and is there in Main Report Query Dataset.

We are using Jasper server 5.1 edition

Try changing the -J-Xms -J-Xmx parameters. You will find these parametrs in ireportpro.conf file.Path to the file is as under

 

    iReportInstallationDir/etc/ireport.conf

Try changing timetoIdleSeconds and timeToLiveSeconds values in the WEB-INFehcache_hibernate.xml file. I think there was also a change in the my.ini setting.

Also, schedule your report instead of executing it directly.
