tgutgu
Hi Guilio, Seriously, I do not understand the way how JasperForge.org is organized. The News page seems never updated, and the download section does not list the new release. Before the opening of Jasperforge it was fairly easy to get news and notice about new downloads. Now I only got the notice, because I looked into the forum. Maybe I miss how JasperForge ist organized, but the whole thing does not to seem very logic at least to me. Also, it would be great, that an announcement of a new version would include a "status report" about the documentation (JasperReports Ultimate Guide and iReport User Manual), i.e. whether the new release is reflected in the docs or not and when the docs will be updated the next time. I do not want to be overly critic, on the whole Jasper Reports and iReport are good, but I think JasperForge could need a consequent approach to organize the content. Giulio Toffoli
Hi neetikamittal, The query designer is not yet ready, I hope to include it in the next version, or at most the other next one. Hi Thomas, thanks for your comment. In a couple of days, when I'll be sure that there are not critical errors to fix immediatly, iReport will see the new version by hisself. I have not yet posted any news about the new version, normally I prefer wait a couple of days that the most expert users try it before do that. Contextually, I'll update the download page  The documentation update is on top of my todo list, you'll see the updated manual in a couple of weeks. Thanks Giulio
tgutgu
Thanks for the info, please, just declare the status of the documentation, when you make an announcement of a new version. Kind regards Thomas
jgo
Thanks for this great work. In the 'Translation Status' plugin I can see there is still some work.I can provide a full translation in french and help with spanish. How can I proceed to send you the files ?Post edited by: jgo, at: 2006/09/06 09:
Giulio Toffoli
jgo your help would be very appreciated! Simply take the locale.properties inside it/businesslogic/ireport/locale and add all missing keywords in the corresponding locale_es.properties and locale_fr.properties The missing keywords can be generated using the translation status plugin. Thanks a lot! Giulio
