hozawa
Seems like a postgresql error rather than JasperReports Server error. Suggest you post your question to Postgresql forum instead of here.

hozawa
For everybody else, MySQL as a setting to limit maximum packet that that it can handle. If a user tries to upload a file that is larger than this value, MySQL will return an error. This often happens when a user tries to upload a binary file such as jdbc driver jar file or image file. Following page shows how to increase this value.https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.7/en/packet-too-large.html
