Scheduled Reports Email getting altered before sending

I am trying to schedule a report to send to an email address similarly formed to this "support_stats@collaborate.xyz.com". There is no error when configuring this in the scheduler, however when the scheduler runs it sends to "support_stats@xyz.com" (it dropped the subdomain!)

Is there a reason this happens? anyway to control/stop this?

It appears this wasn't an issue with Jasper after all.. I think we were accidnetly using an email account that was not accessible outside the corporate network, therefore it was behving oddly.. false alarm!
