iReport 5.6.0 Preview stuck on 'Filling report'

I have run into an issue when the preview is stuck on 'Filling Report'

I know that the query works, and produces results from within iReprot → Report query → Preview data.

There are no error messages that I can see.

 

Please help.

This issue resolved itself without any intervention.... So it may very well be a bug.

There may have been a bug with iReport 5.6.0. Unfortunately, iReport project is not longer active. Try using Jaspersoft Studio and check if the error persists.
