rmarcu
Can I use Jaspersoft to import a really big amount of data from MSSQL into Cassandra using Jaspersoft? If yes, is there a place I could find a demo? I cannot seem to be able to find anything. Thank you and I will appreciate any replies!
elizam
No you cannot do this. Jaspersoft reads data from an existing database and creates reports and dahsboards for data analysis. It cannot be used to manipulate data or alter a database.
hozawa
Yes. There is a Jaspersoft ETL software that will allow users to extract data from MySQL using tMysqlInput and import into Cassandra using tcassandraoutput component. You'll need to get the Big Data extension to Jaspersoft ETL.
rmarcu
Thank you for all your replies! I will need to import from Microsoft SQL Server, not from MySQL, or I could also do it from a .csv file if it will be easier. The Jaspersoft ETL software is it a free software or will I be needing a license?Thank you so much!
