homepage container behaviour based on role

I'm trying to disable the data source/domain/adhoc view "create" button if the role is not role_administrator.

eg :
role_administrator able to see
data source/domain/adhoc view/  "create" and "view list" button

role_normal_user
data source/domain/adhoc view/   "view list" button only

i'm able to hide the entire container but that is not what im looking for. how can i achive this ?
The jasper server im using is version 6.0.2

yes i did... what i have done is editing the actionModel-navigation.xml

it manage to help me to control the menu. But now when user click on the HOME button users are able to create adhoc view and report.

i need to disable the "Create" button based on the Role given. Is it possible ?

If you look lower on the same page, there is information on how to disable the Ad Hoc functionality based on role. That is more secure than just removing the links (although I agree the it would be good to remove the links as well.)

Thanks. Will try to work on that. But anyone else know how to remove the link from the container ??

manage to fix it by editing workflowTemplate.htm and workflowTemplate.js
