Solution ghudson_1 Posted March 12, 2014 Solution Share Posted March 12, 2014 Treat this error message as if it was occurring within any java-based program or application. Googling the error message returns a few nice article which explain that the port your socket is connecting to seems not to be listening. Here are some descriptions and explanations:http://javarevisited.blogspot.com/2013/02/java-net-ConnectException-Connection-refused.html
hozawa
The way to avoid this is to setup your jdbc connection properly.Connection refused often means your username and password is incorrect.
