cameron_1
Hello, I was wondering how we go about adding a second dataset into the Charts Pro component? For example, when adding the component it staes taht it supports multiple datasets - However in the component itself there's no obvious way to add in secondary data sets.As a follow on question to that, the answer may become obvious once I understand how to do this, how do you change the plot type of the additional datasets? I need a second dataset to be plotted as a line, over the top of a column. Pretty basic stuff, but the method seems to be escaping me right now! Thanks - Cameron PS, Does anyone know how to get the legend to sit on the left hand side????
ajinkya_c
Hi,Your requirement of multiaxis chart is not possible with Chartspro as well as HTML5 charts directly, I think their may be some custom way to do that i am also searching for that. There should be more templates of charts in charts pro and HTML5 charts becouse multiaxis chart available in normal 2D charts.I will raise enhancement request for that.Do let me know if you find any custom way for that.ThanksAjinkya
cameron_1
Really, still not possible? It's 2013 isn't it?There are "answers" posted back in 2011 asking for this, and responses claiming it's a known enhancement request. - http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/538577/chartspro-support-dual-y-axis-and-combination-chartshttp://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/537695/i-can%C3%A2%C2%B4t-find-promoted-chart-charts-prohttp://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/541045/question-how-use-charts-pro-and-use-multiple-series-charthttp://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/537643/exposing-additional-fusionchart-propertiesWhat on earth has been happening the last 2 years if this still isn't implimented? They've gone an created a whole new charting library for "HTML5" charts, which is largely unnecessary as the Fusion Charts library alreayd supports all the functionality of HighCharts, just so long as they actually impliment it. Even then they've missed a while heap of functionlity for HighCharts. It's like they've done the minimum needed to put on a brouchure "We have HTML5 Charts". cameron_1
Jaspersoft Studio doesn't have Charts Pro, Widgets Pro, Maps Pro or HTML5 Charts though. Once they get set up I might be able to use it!

cameron_1
I don't see any option to download the Pro version. It's only got links to the normal version on Sourceforge.

cameron_1
Yes, I know. Never mind I managed to find it had to log in to the "Support" website, not the website you linked. Didn't end up helping anyway, they still didn't provide the basic functionality we've had for 10 years now in most other reporting suites.
