We need some advice/hints/tips on doing the above upgrade, please.
Currently we are using Java 7 and Tomcat 7.
We also need advice on upgrading existing report designs at customer installations. iReport 3.5 was in use, but will possibly also be upgraded to iReport 5.1.0.

I have not done an upgrade like that (such a big jump:) so some general guidance here:
- always use the same iReport version that the library you are using.
- you will need to recompile all your JRXML files with the new library.
