csshahie
HiInstead of creating a main and subreport, is it possible to create a single report from 2 different queries which are not related to each other. ie. different tables, grouped and analytical functions (sum, avg)The one is in table format and the other should be displayed as a graph. Any help is appreciatedRegards
jvway
Yes, it's pretty easy too. Using 3.6 you just right click on the report name in the report inspector and select "Add Dataset" From there you right click and choose properties to change the name or edit query to create a query from the query designer. Then, in you chart data selection you'll choose the newly created dataset as the source. (I say 3.6 because I didn't do this in earlier versions. I believe it is the same for any 3.x)

jvway
Well then this will be _a lot_ different. I got in just when they were switching to the Netbeans paradigm. It's pretty slick now.
