which barcode library to go with?

Hi,

We are asking for your help in deciding which third party open source Java barcode library to support in JR/iR.
We are planning to implement a custom component for that.
In the past, we have worked with the Barbecue project, but it no longer seems to be a very active project so we are considering giving up on it.

Other candidates include Barcode4J and "barcode-java". If you know any other barcode library that would suit the bill, let us know.
