why is it blank when the reports is published on the server?

in the jaspersoft studio's preview viewer,the report is mormal,but when it is published on the server, it becomes blank page,why?

The most common cause is data source definition not being properly setup on JasperReports Server.

Uploading a report to the server does not automatically create a datasource definition.

i have make clear the cause of the problem . it is that:

the report that has problems was created in ireport ,it was edited in jasper studio. so ,it has problems when published on the server.

when i created a new report in the jasper studio, and re-edit the content ,it can be published on the server successfully.

i have also noticed that when you want veiw the report on the server , the report must have a datasource and use at least  one field from the datasource.
