How to pass list from java code to iReport 5.5.0

Hi,

I am using iReport 5.5.0 tool and eclipse luna, I have a list of string in java code, I am putting that list into a hash map and map also contains some other stuff like I'd, name, age and I am passing that map to iReport, but I am unable to print that list in I report, but the other stuff like I'd, name, age got printed in iReport.For printing that list in I report I am using List component in list dataset I created a parameter same as I am passing from code and type of java.util.list. Please help me to find the solution. Please describe step by step using iReport 5.5.0.

Sorry, but iReport is no longer maintained nor supported. Try using Jaspersoft Studio which is the new JasperReports design tool.
