dodul
I am trying to install jasper report server on my ubuntu machine. I have tomcat pre installed on that server and I have a separate postgresql database server. For installing jasper I folowed instructions from this webpage:http://www.idryman.org/blog/2014/02/26/setting-up-jasper-server-on-linux/1. I have comeup with few questions : The installation precess asks if I want to use an existing tomcat or the buindled romcat. If I select bundled will it cause issues with my existing tomcat.2. My existing tomcat runs on port 8080, if I select a different tomcat port (eg 8081) while installing jasper (assuming I have selected existing tomcat) will tomcat listen to both ports? 3. It asks for PostgreSQL Binary Directory, I do not have postgres installed in my server, (postgresql is installed in a differetn server). What should I do with this? hozawa
I've found it's a lot easier and faster to just use the war installation rather than mess around with the installer.http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/tibco-jasperreports-server-installation-guide/v640/installing-war-file-using-js
