Dashboard, can Jaspersoft community version render it

Hi I got a quick question to determine that if I develop the Dashboard using the premium version of Jaspersoft Studio, does user need to buy a paid version of the client as well to use the dashboard?

Dashboard is a feature of JasperReports Server and not Jaspersoft Studio.  Jaspersoft Studio is just based on eclipse and does have a server feature.

To use a dashboard, you'll need to purchase a commercial version of JasperReports Server.

Right so that I understand it clearly, so even to use the dashboard, once it has been developed, User needs to purchase a commercial version?

You don't have access to the Dashboard designer in a community instance, so you won't be able to develop nor to view a Dashboard.

You can create a report that looks like a dashboard in Jaspersoft Studio, in which case it can be used in community, unless you use components from the pro version. For example, if you create a report that uses HTML5 charts, then they won't work in the community server.

If you use visualize to build a dashboard out of several Studio reports, then I believe users need a commercial license to use it.
