Hi,

I'm using Jaspersoft Studio 6.2.0 on Windows 7 and am struggeling with this instruction:

http://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/compile-older-jasperreports-version-jaspersoft-studio

When i try to download JasperReport 3.7.4 I get an error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

So i manually downloaded that version via Browser and now have a zip-file on my HDD - how do I add this zip to Jaspersoft Studio? Can I just copy it into any directory? Or can I change the download-link to file://c:/ something?

Greetz,

Toby.

Huh, theres a 6.3.0? :D

Okay, done, the Compatibility Configuration looks different here, but the Compiler-download still doesn't work from URL (http://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperreports/files/jasperreports/JasperReports%203.7.4/jasperreports-3.7.4-project.zip/download). SF states a "!not found" error, but with a different URL (https://sourceforge.net/projects/jasperreports/files/archive/jasperreports/JasperReports%203.7.4/jasperreports-3.7.4-project.zip/download) it still says "There is no JRCompiler"

But there is now an option to "Add From Path", which works with the downloaded jasperreports-3.7.4-project.zip. Just extract to any folder and add it.

This works for me now.
