revived_muffin
I am trying to migrate data from an existing instance of JasperReports Server over to a new one. After following the steps in the Upgrade Guide I ran "js-upgrade-newdb-ce.bat <path>js-6.0-export.zip" and received the following error message: deploy-webapp-datasource-configs: [echo] [echo] Property values (in app-server.xml: deploy-webapp): [echo] jsEdition = ce [echo] warSourceDir = C:/Jaspersoft/jasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1/buildomatic/install_resources/war/jasperserver [echo] warTargetDir = C:/Jaspersoft/jasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver [echo] webAppName = jasperserver [echo] webAppNameCE = jasperserver [echo] webAppNamePro = jasperserver-pro [echo] webAppNameSrc = jasperserver [echo] webAppNameDel = jasperserver [echo] warTargetDirDel = C:/Jaspersoft/jasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1/apache-tomcat/webapps/jasperserver [copy] Copying 8 files to C:Jaspersoftjasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1apache-tomcatwebappsjasperserver BUILD FAILEDC:Jaspersoftjasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1buildomaticbinapp-server.xml:808: The following error occurred while executing this line:C:Jaspersoftjasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1buildomaticbinapp-server.xml:538: Replace: source file C:Jaspersoftjasperreports-server-cp-6.2.1apache-tomcatwebappsjasperserverWEB-INFweb.xml doesn't exist Total time: 1 minute 55 secondsChecking Ant return code: OK ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Any suggestions for how to resolve this issue? hozawa
Upgrade guide is when you're upgrading an existing server and not when you're upgrading to a new server. When you're moving to a new server, you need to install JasperReports Server on the new server with the same version as the existing server. Then do an upgrade. It seems your new server doesn't have JasperReports Server installed.
