sysibm.sysdummy1 not working in ireport

sysibm.sysdummy1 is not working when I am running the query from Ireport. But the same is working fine when I run the same query from DB2client.
select
(****)
from sysibm.sysdummy1;
what is the solution.! thanks.

What encoding are you using? You need to be using EBCDIC and I think you also should be using IBM JDK when using using IBM products.
