Dataset with all records with a date field less than today.

How do I write the where clause in Jasper Reports so I can select all the records where a todo date (todo) is less than or equal to the date the report is being run?   Normally I would do something like:

select table.* from table where todo <= today();

Any ideas?

It probably depends on class type of "todo" field.

Tried it with the sample order database table that has orderdate as a timestamp.

Following seems OK on mysql

SELECT * FROM orders WHERE orderdate <= now()
