  1. Why would you want to pass an SQL statement with comments in the first place? Remember that the object type for the SQL statement on JDBC drivers is String.

  3. Hola @anapoles, con la poca información que compartes, me parece que es un escenario típico de migración a nuevas plataformas en la cual han cambiado las dependencias. Al parecer el aplicativo no las traía consigo y utilizaba las disponibles en el sistema en su momento. En términos generales, lo que tienes que hacer es ir buscando qué dependencias y versiones necesitas, luego ir a los archivos históricos para que puedas encontrarlos y descargarlos. Hay diferentes herramientas para hacer esto: jdeps, Jar Analyzer, Tattleltale, etc. Sin embargo, lo aconsejable sería migrar esos informes a una versión más actual de JasperReports, que también ha sufrido cambios en las dependencias que utiliza.
  4. @goodweather Efectivamente. JasperReports Server ya no está disponible en su versión de software libre.
  5. I've been testing the latest community version for Jaspersoft Studio (6.21.2). The install did not show any problem and I was able to use it right after that. However, the next time I wanted to use it it failed to start, complaining about a well known eclipse error message. Looking at logs it also complained about former reports I had from old versions. However, looking in depth it did not look to be the source of the problem. Later I had to resort to a suggestion from the eclipse community which removes a dot file from the metadata directory. Although it does work and allows Studio to start smoothly, it also makes you lose your existing projects configuration. I'm sharing it here in case you get into same situation. rm -f JaspersoftWorkspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/0.snap
