We have built and added a custom export channel (see here) and it's all gravy. However, our exporter only makes sense for tables (not charts or crosstab). I am looking for a way to only show it when attempting to export a table.

I am looking to restrict the creation of new adhoc views to users with a specific role ('ROLE_REPORT_CREATOR'). I have removed the appropriate navigation items based upon role, however, I am unable to figure out how to remove the 'Create' link from the home page without removing the whole AdHoc View section. I still want all roles to be able to view adhoc views. NOTE: this will also be done for creating reports. EDIT: working with Jasperserver 6.2

We had a security file doing a similar thing for version 5.5. We are working on upgrading to 6.2 and I have seen the same issue.
