Thnaks for the link!! Currently i am using sub reports to achieve this. The issue i am facing when i make the sub report data print only once, it displyonce but at the top and text box won't expand to the bottom or till next record. (It has boarders on al sides) Any ideas on this ?Thanks,Manasa

Hello All,I have below report requirment USAGeorgia Atlanta SavannahCaliforniaSanta BarbaraIndiaKeralaKochiKollamKottyamKarnatakaBengaloreMagaloreHubli I created Country and State group but dispalying all the fieldsdata in DETAIL band by writing formula - $V{state_COUNT} == 1 same for country also i am able to print only once when i unselect "PRINT REPEATED VALUES'' but i need to display the dat in CENTER Align adn also apply border for all this fields where the text box is not grwoing even though i kept Position type as FLOAT & Stretch Type either Relative to Tallest objecty or Relative to Band Height. None of them are working. Any suggestions are highly appreciated! ThanksManasa

Hello Matt, I have similar report requirement. But the design is a little different. I need to dispaly country & State only once when repetation but it should display in center and all columns has boarders to it. The design really looks ugly when i write formula or disable/unselect 'print repeated values' It looks better when i make field data to repeat. Any suggestions are more appreciated! Thanks Manasa

Hello All, I have report which has horizontal detail data. Report has static field in the beginning which is repeating for entier column. how can i get the static field with no repetation. When i select "Print Repeated Values" it is coming only once for a page. Hello, Report has a multi select paraamter which is passed in sub report as well. But it is displaying 2 parameter values data together for sub reports. How to split them according to different vlaues passed from multiselect filter. Thanks Manasa

Hello All, I have a report which has three sub reports in it and All of them has a Multi select parameter which is String datatype. when i run the main report it runs fine from studio. but, When i run it from Server it throws me below error. Invalid type java.lang.String for parameter glid used in an IN clause; the value must be an array or a collection. I declared the field as Collection type with String data type. The field which i declared as STRING is varchar field in DB (SQL Server) Input control : It is single select query ehere VLAUE & LABEL are both the same fields (String field). Please help me out how to proceed with this kind of issue or where i am doing wrong. Regards, Manasa

Hello All, I am trying to convert Crystal to Jasper report. In one of the Crystal report, it has formmula which converts Date into Text format. Below is the Formulas i am trying to replicate same in Jasper. Can we hide/Restrict Ad-Hoc Create option from users

Thanks Alex ! Is there any way we can restrict with Rights ? 1. As changing the code is not allowed in PROD environments. 2. Also, Only few users are to be restricted to have that access and the same user might get access to it in future so just looking for something we can do with Rights. -

Hello All, In Jasper server from Clarity, I have a custom folder and it has one report in it. I gaave permissions on a FOLDER level to limit the users who access to the folder. Belowa re the few detals. 1. Default roles has assigned with "NO ACCESS" right 2. From the folder permissions users are given "READ ONLY" access to run the report. I tested for few users and works fine. But one of the user is not able to see the report in the fodler. (User can view the folder but not the report in it) Your input are appreciated.
