  1. Our JasperReports server provides Dashboards to users on the internet via a web portal. We are currently using the HTTP API in an iFrame. When the user first connects to the portal they are prompted for a username/password which is added to the subsequent HTTP requests for authentication. We are considering a migration to visualize.js but this is not in work yet. The problem we have is password change. Since the user never directly accesses the JasperReports server login page, the only way to accomplish this is to have an adminstrator change their password for them. We need the ability for our users to do this themselves. Here is my question: What is best practice for password change if the users primary access is to a dashboard via a web portal? Duane Harkness
  2. I have the exact same problem. A couple of days ago we upgraded from 5.5 to 5.6 and now I get a null pointer exception whenever I either edit and save an existing domain or try to create and save a new domain. I'm going to log a ticket with Jaspersoft support because this is a serious issue for us. --duane
