Hello Dear, Logged in user name can be passed to query based input control by using the built-in parameter $P{LoggedInUsername}. Just put it $P{LoggedInUsername} ...instead of $P!{userLinkedBriefIds}[/code]This should work . Good luck.

Hello sarjaycs, Try to add your custom role in following file where default role user is already added, web-inf/ actionModel-search.xml applicationContext-security.xml applicationContext-security-web.xml jasperserver_servlet.xml applicationContext.xml applicationContext-search.xml may be it help ful for you. Hello, I have migrate jasper server 3.5 to 5.2 and done custom changes that i need. but now i want to hide back button save button displayed on report when we run. as shown in attachment file u can see actually what i want to hide shown in red box. if any one know about this please help...... sourabh consultant Advanz 101

Hello Ahamdaoui, This is very simple you dont need to change more file. Just change in decorator.jsp find in web-inf/decorator/decorator.jsp and find the tag where menu is started and use <auth:usernot=jasperadmin> somthing like this and add tag for menu authontication and define only jasperadmin user this way u can easily hide menu bar from other user. may this help u because i have done this Saurabh consultant 101

Hello Phishellec, If u are using query base input control and pass user name dynamicaly so use 'user_name = $P{LoggedInUsername}' may it will help u because it worked for me in jasperserver 5.2 i have migrate this. Saurabh consultant 101

Hello jan, First you check appropriate databse driver jar in server lib folder as well as in script/db/mysql somthing like this structure where you have to keep driver jar of database. it will work for u Saurabh consultant 101 -

Hello jp, First u find the jsp or xml from where resourcr ID is displayed or from where it came. Ur half is finish after finding then use the <auth:displayin=jasperadmin> somthing like this tag u find actual tag in decorator.jsp use that and define role name if u define only jasperadmin then u will se ad admin not for another user. i have tried,this ROLE_USER is worked for me but our custom role have access is denied permission.

As per your reply i followed jasper admin guide 5.2 for create user and role but i didn't getting any solution till now i am getting access is denied for my customs role.

I have create a new role ROLE_TEST and a user Test_User and ROLE_TEST assign readonly permission and start the server when i login through this user i getting access is denied and You do not have permission to view this page. Please contact your system administrator or log in as a user with permission. I also follow jasper server admin guide for creating user and roles....but till now i am getting access is denied for custome role. if any one know so share ur knowledge for my help............ Thanks

Hello Everyone, i have done migration jaspersoft 3.5 to jaspersoft 5.1/5.2 and my all Dashboards and reports is running without any error. But i want to know when i loged in jasperserver then i want to display Dashboard directly. in simple i want to display dashboard just after login in jasper server. if any one know about this so please help me.
