After playing with it for a while, reinstalling multiple times, and trying different things, I have chalked it up to installing the 32bit version on a 64bit machine. This has never been an issue before, so I don't know why it is now, but it appears to be my issue here. 5.5x86 works 5.6x86 doesn't work 5.6x64 works My production machine is 32bit, so I usually test with 32 on my 64 bit machine. As I stated earlier, this hasn't been a problem until now. I appreciate your feedback. Now that I have successfully tested 5.6 on a different 32bit machine and my 64bit test machine I will work on upgrading the production machine. Thanks again for your help! This is a great community!
