  1. You can cut and paste the reports and schedules from your special folder to the final destination folder. However this removes the schedules and jobs from the special folder. Web services has a copy method where you can duplicate the schedules in the destination folder. This involves writing something that will call the web service so it is more work.
  2. Good observation about the folders having the problem are the ones with more than 9 subfolders. My set-up confirms that. The folders throwing the error contain 11 and 12 subfolders. My root folder has 10 and it sometimes works and sometimes fails. They all worked in 4.5. Something change between 4.5 and 4.7. Why more than 9? Array too small? Think it would throw a memory error or out of bounds error.
  3. Installed Tomcat 7.0 to no avail. Still get the same error. It appears to be lacking a jasperserver db connection when it tires to display the root structure from the db. Once a connection is mad either by creating a new folder or by using the Library tab, then all is well. Attempts were made to do a "lazyLoad = false" setting but I did not know where to apply it and was only guessing that this was the solution. Reinstallation of 4.7 did not work. Installing 4.5 then 4.7 did not work. Installing Tomcat 7.0 did not work. Wonder what will?
  4. Tried converting version 3.7.1 to version 4.5. It worked. The root directory and folders all appeared. Converted to version 4.7 using chapter 9 from the install guide. The root directory and folders did NOT appear. Same error message as before.
  5. My SQl version is 5.5 My Tomcat version is 6.0 They are the versions that are running in prouduction with JasperServer 3.7.1.
  6. Thanks for the suggestion but the error still presented itself after running the js-ant script. The js-ant script mostly returned "value already there". I have been following the chptr. 8 instructions which did not include running this script. This is "jgg". The new website would not let me sign in so I had to recreate and account.
