  1. This search criteria is not working. It returns all scheduled jobs, those scheduled by me and others. It also lets me edit jobs scheduled by others. Anyone know of a fix?
  2. Verified that a User can get to any scheduled job. The 6.3 User Guide says they should not be able to do this on page 85. User is set up with a role called "Production" and an example of the report permissions has the "Production" role set at "Read Only*". Yet the User can get to the schedule icon button and edit any of the report schedules even though the User does not own any of them.
  3. Updating from version 5.2. In that version, a job-schedule created by User1 could not be edited or seen by User2. Yet the Sys Admin could see/edit both. In version 6.3, User1 and User2 can see and edit each other's scheduled-jobs, including those created by Sys Admins. Is there a way to replicate the 5.2 permission in 6.3 so that User1 or User2 cannot mess with each other's jobs? Establishing seperate folders for each user with appropriate permissions would be very, very messy.
  4. Just completed installing Jasper Server 4.7 from version 3.7.1. Installation went fine. The new version came up and I was able to sign into it. The root folders displayed. When I went to one of the sub-folders, I encountered the error listed below. If I add a folder to the sub-folder having the problem, the problem goes away. All the folders under that folder appear icluding the one I added and I am able to access all the lowere level folders where the reports are stored. If I restart Tomcat, the problem appears again. Sometimes it happens at the root level. Any ideas? Here is the error message from the server screen. Using a MYSQL database and Tomcat. ....... The server has encountered an error. 5. Seems to be list size related. My problems are occuring with large multi-select query input selections. Single-select queries work fine. Small mult-select queries also perform ok. But Large multi-select queries have problems. One with around 8,000 entries starts to have problems and one with 23,000 entries does not work. Both performed well under JasperServer 3.71.
  6. Same problem in internet explorer 8. Users cannot enter an input value. Makes the app unusable. Greg
  7. When and end-user is entering a value into a Single-Select Query parameter field, they must be able to type the entire string without a pause or the function figures they are done and selects the closest match for the field they entered. If they then enter the rest of the string without looking, they are taken to that closest match. For example, Available values from Query 12340000 12345678 11223344 56781234 They want to enter 12345678. As they enter the value, they go 1234 and pause. The function see's the pause and brings up 12340000. If they then enter 5678 without looking they are taken to 56781234. If they do look, then they have to enter 12345678 again to go where they wanted or scroll down which appears to be a problem for them when working with real data. A pause is perfectly acceptable but is there a way to lengthen the pause? Allow them more time to finish entering their number before the function decides they are done entering and matches a value? Thanks,
  8. Running iReport 3.7.6 gives a PDF where anything in BOLD font is blurred. The old version of the same static field is much crisper and legible. Any ideas on how to improve the 3.7.6 version? I am using “straight out of the box implementations” of the product. The preview display of the report is fine in iReport. It is when it converts it to a PDF that the bold print gets blurred.
  9. I have had this problem when the subreport is put into any header or footer band. I have not found a way around it. However if the subreport is put in the summary band then the "main" report is done and the subreport heading/columns are used.
