  1. Issue:[toc on_off::hide=1]User has a date input control for a begin and end date to filter query results. When entering in a date range of 12/1/2011 to 12/28/2011, the user would expect these dates to be passed as parameters into the report and return data within that date range. Instead, the server is subtracting a day. The dates actually being passed are 11/30/2011 to 12/27/2011. The input control is a single value, mandatory, input control with data type: Date. Resolution:This issue is caused by an incorrect datasource timezone setting. Issue can be resolved by changing the datasource timezone to 'Use database setting'. You can do this by editing your datasource in the JasperReports Server repository. There is a timezone setting near the bottom. This setting is used when you know the values in the database need to be corrected by some offset. In most cases, this setting needs be set to 'Use database setting'. Ref.
