  1. That's a good question! If you rename the report when you save it in iReport, does that break the connection? If that works, you'll still have to delete all dependent reports - including the one you used to create the new report in iReport - before you can delete the Ad Hoc view.
  2. Hi, Dav. Are you logged in to JRS as an administrator? You must be, in order to create a domain. -aimee
  3. OK, let me look into it further and see if I can find a solution for you.
  4. Hi there. I'm going to link you do an old conversation about this subject: http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/515849/multiple-reports-generating-one-pdf I'm not sure if it will fix your problem - leave me a comment if it doesn't and I'll look into it further. aimee
  5. Hi, Kalyan. Are you exporting directly to Excel, or are you exporting to CSV then opening that report in Excel? If you aren't doing it already, try exporting directly to Excel, then saving the Excel report as a CSV. If you are still experiencing the problem, leave me a comment and I'll look into it further. Thanks! aimee
  6. Hi, Peter. A similar problem occurred for another customer. Below is the solution that fixed their problem - maybe it applies to your issue as well. Let me know if it doesn't work: "I think time zone awareness comes from the JS Pro query executor. If you would map it to another one it should work. just replace in WEB-INF/classes/jasperreports.properties net.sf.jasperreports.query.executer.factory.sql=com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.api.engine.jasperreports.util.JRTimezoneJdbcQueryExecuterFactory with net.sf.jasperreports.query.executer.factory.sql=net.sf.jasperreports.engine.query.JRJdbcQueryExecuter" Thanks! aimee
  7. OK, there's a good chance I am not getting it still, but perhaps this older community thread answers your question: http://community.jaspersoft.com/questions/530860/parameter-passing-url If *that* doesn't help, let me know again and I'll keep looking.
  8. Hi, Rafael. Users (such as report developers), if they have the proper permissions, can create input controls in the Ad Hoc editor. You can find information on using the Ad Hoc Editor to define input controls in the JasperReports Server User Guide, beginning with section 4.7, Using Filters and Input Controls. You can download or view the User Guide from the Docs tab, above, or by clicking the link below: http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation?version=7114 If this doesn't give you enough information, leave me a comment and I'll see if I can find a better answer for you. aimee
  9. Hi, Daire. If you haven't already, you should check out the JasperReports Server User Guide, specifically section 2.2.5, Adding a Custom URL to a Dashboard. You can download or view the User Guide by clicking the Docs tab above, or using this URL: http://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation?version=7114 If that doesn't address your issue, leave me a comment and I'll investigate further for you. aimee
  10. This is possible! It's not area of expertise, so I'll point you to the iReport Ultimate Guide has a pretty extensive section on this, 5.2 Working with images. I think section 5.2.3, Creating an Image Dynamically, should have the information you need. You can find the latest Ultimate Guide by clicking the Docs tab at the top of this page. If this doesn't have the info you need, come back and I'll see if I can track down an answer for you. aimee
  11. Hi there. Your existing reports will almost certainly be impacted. Some of the impact depends on how you made some of the changes, for instance if you changed column names by editing the column properties rather than changing the underlying ID, the impact will be minimal and probably self-correct when you re-run the report. If you deleted or moved things in the domain that are referenced by your reports, you may need to either re-create the reports or edit the Domain Topic. You should read section 6.6 "Editing a Domain" in the JasperReports Server User Guide (available from the Docs section of this here wiki), especially section 6.6.1, "Maintaining Referential Integrity". aimee
  12. Hi there. Try this: 1. In iReport, click the Window menu.2. Select Formatting Tools. This should (hopefully) open the Formatting Tools window. Let me know if this doesn't work - the oldest version of iReport I could get my hands on is 3.5. aimee
