Java is case sensitive 1. is Integer not integer 2. the second expression (else of if) should have too :new Integer(expression)

NO, you are confuse about subreport. You can call a Scriptlet or a Java Class (function) for get data to fill some report field ou var.

You must compile all report and sub-reports. Why do you need 3 sub-reports???

2 options 1. Use scriptlet 2. Use a class to do it. The first choice it's better
