Hi giulio, This is what has hapened to me few mind ago.A report which was runnign perfectly fine suddenly end up giving me error coz the text allignment got set to NULL.. See this one.. Error loading the report template: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-enumeration-valid: Value 'null' is not facet-valid with respect to enumeration '[Left, Center, Right, Justified]'. It must be a value from the enumeration. Again i have to go back to XML and change them to CENTER to make them start working.. I think u need to do something about it .. shriyakish Ya im able to figure out the problem.You have to see the error and se what it is saying and have to goto JRXML file and make the change manually. See my error.It meant was that my text allignemtn was set to NULL automatically thus i hve to go back to xml and change it manually... Hi Giulio, Thank you for replying Giulio.I am using latest version of iReport 3.1.2.I didnt get what u mean by can i reproduce a problem? If you mean am i able to fix it . Then as i mentioned yes i have to go through the JRXML and try to find out the relevant problem.Like the recent one is :- Allignment can not be NULL.and bcoz of this problem report wont open up thus cant make change in the report thus have to go through the JRXML and fix it there or atleast delete those sections(which apprently are all of text sections ) so that i dont loose whole report. Hi, I have been facing this problem since i am using iReport especially for last 2 months.It is quite often that i develop a report and its working fine til the time im using it. But i open it next time its XML ends up getting corrupt and shows error which is coz of automatic change in the XML of the report.Even if it wont coz a problem/error, forexample in case where i make a particular STYLE OPAQUE and it end up getting unchecked almost everytime i am logging in. I am not sure of the reason.I do end up solving this by going to XML(even though i dont know a damn about XML) and making changes there and again report start working but this is something very wrong with Jasper iReport. Is there any fix for this problem of XML getting changed automatically. Regards. Raman

I think this is a problem with iReport and no one is here to reply what this is about?I think i have asked quite a bit questions about jasper iReport erros but noone is here to reply and tell what they are about.. I am making one more try here.This has happened with me more than 5 or 6 times.I run a report and close it after prefect execution and when open up after a while suddenly this error comes up and it wont go and ruins the file completely. Hi shalom, U can do it by creating hyperlink.Create a hyperlink on the requied fields.Click right on it and select hyperlink option.Thenchoose target to be "ReportExecution and other option as "Self". Go to link parameter and add parameter which you wanna to get passed onto other report.Also add one more parameter as "_report"" and in expression give the repository path of thae second report. Hi, I am also having this problem for not any good reason.I just transferred the working JRXML from one computer to another and when opened in that another computer i got this problem.Also it start giving same problem in previous computer also. So that JRXML is almost destroyed coz it is not working in either of the system. Hi rameshinpower, Thank you for your reply.I think this is some problem with iReport and thats y it becomes problem while testing the report.Bcoz this is something not stably working.In some report iReport ask for Default value and in others it does not and just takes the default value I think jasper needs to wrok on this problem of iReport. Hi, I am having this problem in iReport 3.1.2, which i never had in 3.0.0.Here iReport is not prompting for parameter value even though i have click on "Use as a Prompt" and if i remove Default avlue it is giving me blank page. Hi, Can we have a section in iReport which becomes visible after clicking on some link or some sign Like a '+' sign. We have something lik this in Jasper Analysis where we click on a + sign and fields become visible.
