Hi EveryOne, I have created a parameter in the iReport tool with an Prompt option checked, when i run the report in Ireport tool its asking a prompt but when i run through tomcat server the same JRXML file its not asking any prompt. can anybody tell me Whats the mistake in that? Thanks, Sateesh

Hi Everyone, I am using the JasperReport 3.0.0 and iReport 3.0.0, i am exporting the report in Excel format in that i want to add the dynamic formula, i saw some forum discussion that we can use the propertyExperssion tag but i didn't find any detailed explaination about that tag. <propertyExpression name="net.sf.jasperreports.export.xls.formula"> </propertyExpression> Can anyone give me the detailed explaination abt this tag. that will be greatful. Hi Sanda, I am new to iReport tool i have a requirement like we have XML file as a DataSource from that we need to export the report in the Excel format, Once the Excel has exported in the excel sheet use will edit the some cell for that the Grand Total should come automatically and the use will same the excel.
