Hi friends, I have to design and code jasper reports. I am new to this one. Please let me know the process how to design in eclipse and compile? I have to use jsf for diaplay. I tried some example with servlet, I am getting following errors. java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/sf/jasperreports/engine/JRException I want to know how the .jrxml file compiling to jasper file i mean i want to know which jar files are needed for this. can you guide with simple example with configuration. Tahnks for help, i have to do 9 reports with in 3 weeks. Is this possible?

Hi, I have to design and code some reportd using Jasper. I am novince to this jasper. Plese let me know wich tool is bette and what software i need, or jar files i need? if anybody have , provide simple example. I installed ireportd, is is showing some errors.
