Hi I have large data sets which has to be displayed on reports. I using iReport to design the jasper reports. How can I edit REPORT_VIRTUALIZER or set the value to the REPORT_VIRTUALIZER. I read that the parameter is not editable. How do we set the value to this parameter and what is the default value in iReport. Thanks, sangi

Hi all, I am trying to create a crosstab. This is my following data date,acceptlist,blocklist 2008-07-02,339408,14087165 2008-07-02,100,100 2008-07-03,200,200 2008-07-03,300,200 I created a crosstab but its giving empty report. Can anybody give me simple example on crosstab. Thanks, Sangi

Right click on the band which you want to change and select Band Properties then specify the height of the band. Now drag the Chart as big as you want, then things will fall in place. :)

Hey, Thanks, I checked the log(catalina.out). JasperServer is not displayed the entire error. Log have more details. It was actually problem in datatype miss matching!!! sangi

Hi I created a report with prompt using iReport. Details: 1. Created input control with iReport. 2. Created a parameter. both input control and parameter name is same. It was working fine with single value. When it was changed to Single-list of values. its giving the following error. java.io.NotSerializableException: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.design.JRValidationFault This error is coming off and on!!! Whts the meaning of this error. Please help me!!!

Hi I do not understand your question properly. When installing the JasperServer it prompts to install MySql. As you already have MySql instance please skip the step and provide details of existing instance details. Please check whether MySql is running or not!!!

Hi all, I am currently working on a reports which having both charts and plain data. I am placing the chart and data on DETAIL band, when ran the report chart is repeating for the every page. I want the chart to be come on first page only. I tried place the chart on SUMMARY band but its giving chart on last page!!! :( and I tried to place the chart TITLE band but its giving the following error. java.io.NotSerializableException: net.sf.jasperreports.engine.design.JRValidationFault I do not understand this error. Whenever I change chart using JasperServer Plugin its giving the error. Please help me. Its urgent!!!

Hi all, Here I am attaching the Line Chart. I need to make few modifications to this report. 1. I am unable to find LINE. :( Which properties do I need to change? 2. I want to add more values on 'y' axis. Presently it has only three values including zero. 3. Wants to remove the legend which is at the bottom of the chart with all dates. 4. Wants to add labels on chart. What do I need to do for desired changes. Hi all, JasperServer is installed on a Unix box and my iReport is in Windows XP. I am using Windows box to develop the reports using iReport. Now, I want to move the reports to the Unix box and data sources are same in both the boxes. How can I move the reports to Unix box using iReport? I am using JS Plugin in iReport but I am unable to understand the functionality. Plese help me. Thanks, Shankar
