No, codyjasperForge, you did not understand the questions.. We ask if it is possible to change the band height at run time. Not: <band height="20"> .. but <band height=$V{..}> or something like this. I cannot find a sample in which the band height depends on the content of the band. For example, I would like to have band height = "340" if the content of the band is an <image>, or height = "15" if the content is a <textField>. Is the question clear, now? Thanks

Hi all, is it possible to set the height of a band as a variable? E.g., depending on the content (being it a text or a image, which I can know by reading current data) I would like a band's height="15" or ="340". How can I do this? If I define a variable "BandHeight", how can I write the following expression: if ($F{category} == "Image") then BandHeight="340" else BandHeight="15" Moreover, how can I use the $V{BandHeight} in order to set the height of the band?
