Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me as to how to access a column in the excel sheet from ireports 0.3.0

 

I have a column in the report which is to be taken from an excel sheet

Please Don't DOUBLE POST... and also don't REPOST the same again........if anyone searches the forum(s) then always the same entries are shown that's very nerving.... |:-O

 

try to build an ODBC-JDBC Bridge to your Excel-Sheet (on WindowsEnvironment) otherwise don't use Excel as DataSource directly .... that's quite witless. You should build your own CustomDataSource or exort your data from the ExcelSheet to a real database that can be accessed by JasperReports.

Thanx for the info.

 

Hope U understand the reason behind reposting or double posting the message (it is an urgent requirement in current project) So I had to, expecting answer from one or the other channel.
