View & print report at client site in web app

I would like to view & print the report at clint side in web application. My jrxml file lie on server side.

I want my report to be displayed on client side without pre saving on server.

 

I am facing some problem.

Please help if u have some idea about it.

me too facing the problem of displaying the report and saving it at the client side...tried the Jasperviewer but it is opening at the server side and not the client side...

 

any body knows the solution to this please be kind and respond ASAP we are desperately seeking for any result

We do just send the JasperPrint Object back to the client that displays this Object in it's viewer... so you should just create your output as JasperPrint or PDF and send the result back to client. The JasperViewer has nothing to do within a server-class.

 

(our server = JBoss - our clients = handmade) ;)
