cuiweibing
Can i hyperlink some words (not all) in staticText or textField? Just like the example in samples/styledtext in which styled html code can be recognized, for example, "<font color="red">red</font>", it can be displayed as "red" not "<font color="red">red</font>" "Please use this URL:<a href="test.html"> test </a> ",how can i make it effected? Whether can it be displayed as "Please use this test "Post edited by: cuiweibing, at: 2006/07/26 08:
Teodor Danciu
Hi, This is not possible in JasperReports.Hyperlinks covers the whole text field.I don't think this will be possible in the near future. Thank you,TeodorPost edited by: teodord, at: 2006/07/26 08:

adepue
This would actually be a very nice feature for jasper reports. Is it really so hard to implement that we will never see it? I would love to insert "<a href=..." into my stylized text.
Teodor Danciu
Hi, This is now on our TODO list, but I'm not sure when it will be available. The hardest thing would be to make these hyperlinks work in the JRViewer. Thank you,Teodor

tom_monnier
Lucian do you have any starting points on this issue? It is a requirement for us, if you can give me some starting info, id be happy to implement it.
rlfisherpbtgroup.com
This is still an issue (for us). I need an anchor (<a href="foo">click here</a>) to be passed thru in html markup.an alternative is to allow a text element that sits to the right of another element to be concatenated - closing up the white space - then the second element could entirely be hyperlink. Teodor Danciu
Hi,I have added initial support for hyperlinks in style text. You can check the demo/samples/styledtext and demo/samples/markup samples of JR on the SVN repository and see if it is what you wanted. This issue is currently tracked here:http://jasperforge.org/projects/jasperreports/tracker/view.php?id=2648and is scheduled for upcoming JR 4.0.1 release. Please provide your feedback on that mentioned tracker.Thank you,Teodor
