Group footer doesn`t stay on page though there is space (bug?)

Dear Community

I have this situation:

I have a group footer with 1 frame and 8 sub-frames. The sub- frames have 2 or 3 text fields.
1 sub-frame is always visible, the others have a print when expression.
The whole frame with all sub-frames doesn`t fit on the page.
The problem is now, in my situation 6 sub-frames are supressed, so that in the end I just have 2 sub-frames (lines) printed. These 2 lines would fit on the page, but obviously the engine is calculating the band height before the supressions are active. So the last line is always printed on the next page.
Line supressions are correct, they are not printed.

Does anybody know this topic and how I could solve?
