Adding Data Source: Host has invalid value

host name with a slash gives error, host name = svr01SQLexpress   URL = jdbc:sqlserver://svr01SQLexpress:1433;databaseName=master

dBeaver and Azure data studio are ok with the url, is there a workaround to for Jaspersoft server to connect to this DB

Hi, this will probably be driver dependent, can you try accessing your database this way: "jdbc:sqlserver://localhost/master;instance=SQLexpress". 

Also, try using our shipped tibco software sqldriver.

 If none of the above works, please send the version of sqlserver jdbc driver you're using and the error log file.

corrected sever name -> mht01

I tried adding the ';instance=SQLEXPRESS' at the end of the url , same error message

Please try this one instead as mentioned in my last comment : "jdbc:sqlserver://mht01:1433/master;instance=SQLexpress" 

If it didn't work, please review:

• I can't see the version and name of your driver from your last message. Please check if the driver you're using is actually supported in the community platform supported documentation here based on your version.
