Error 500 on trying connect to Jasperreports Server. Datasource

I created a new Data Adapter Connection, and a new JasperReports Server connection and it went well with testing. However, I have to edit/create the Data Sources but that's where I'm getting the error, below, from when I click to "Finish".

How can I get around this?

Hello There,

Can you share details about the type of data source used? Can you check if the data source is valid on the server before you access it from the studio? Also, a complete stack trace would be helpful along with some screenshots to further diagnose this issue

Looking forward to the details so we can guide you in the right direction

Thank you
