melanie.burt
How do you remove totals when creating an ad hoc view - I want the actual text to appear, rather than totals?I don't seem to have the tool bar beneath the layout band to select the different labels and functions. for tables, crosstabs and charts - how do I achieve this? I've read that you should be able to right click and delete totals, but they are not disappearing?I'm "deleting row summary", but that doesn't seem to do anything? And when I export to excel or pdf, the ad hoc view is completely blank? melanie.burt
Hello Prparame,I'm working on Adhoc View and when I add fields to Rows, they all appear as Totals ie numbers, rather than the actual text, and when I try to remove these, they appear as blanks, and nothing appears in a pdf or excel output? And I have seen via videos, and your documentation, that beneath the layout band there should be two fields for different labels and functions, but I do not have this - so even if I want to change Rows to Groups, I don't know how/don't seem to have the option? And I also don't seem to have the tool to control the level of detail in the table - again, not sure how I access this?Thank you for your assistance. prparame
Hi,Please try to change the view from Cross Tab to Table and see if this fixes your issue. (Go to "Select visualization Type" and select table instead of cross tab)Thanks
