lfperez Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I eneable the option "disableSendingAlertToOwner" in "applicationContext-report-scheduling.xml" and check the option "Do not send emails for empty reports" in notification tab, but the recipient(s) still recive the email notification when the schedule fail, on the good side the emails configured and users with admin role get the email notification of the problem but i dont want the recipient(s) get the notification.
Michael Bielkiewicz Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 Are you saying that the email on the left in your image (this_recive_the_report_when_is_ok@email.com) is getting an email when the scheduler fails? That would be a defect. The "email_when_fail@email.com" should of course receive an email if the scheduled job fails to run properly as you've identified above.
lfperez Posted February 16, 2023 Author Posted February 16, 2023 Yes, the email on the left recive a generic mail when fail, while the email on the right recive an email about the problem with the trace (which is good). The scheduler i think is ok because it happen at the configured time, is when the report fail to generate (Right now we check all the reports to generate correctly and avoid the email get to the recipient), But we want to prevent the generic email get sended.
Michael Bielkiewicz Posted February 22, 2023 Posted February 22, 2023 I would open a defect with our support team if you have support access. This sounds like a bug to me.
