Cannot save in Jaspersoft Studio 7.2.0

It is also running very slow, not responding and having performance issues.

There should be a "caused by" further down. You also didn't mention which Windows version you are using nor about your pc specification such as how much memory it has.

I am running a windows 7 PC with 32GB of ram. This issue prevents me from saving a jrxml. When I close and reopen it, I lose all changes that were made since the last successful save. I can save it up to a point then when this exception occurs I must restart Studio to be able to work again.
