mths.brn
<title> ... </title><pageHeader>...</pageHeader>[/code]Is what i have in my jrxml, but I would like to invert. The first page should have the page header band before title band, but if I try to chance this it just give me errors. How can I do this? Thanks for considering my request. reportdev
can i ask you the purpose of moving this band ? Each band has its specific purpose and if it does not serve your purpose, you can change the properties on elements being used inside a band and display them as you like. Solution hozawa Posted June 2, 2018 Solution Share Posted June 2, 2018 Instead of moving the bands for the first page, set the content of the title band to have the content of the page header.Title band is only printed once.https://community.jaspersoft.com/documentation/tibco-jaspersoft-studio-user-guide/v630/understanding-bands
mths.brn
reportdev and hozawaI want to show a collection of items on every top of pages, including the first one. I know I can put everything on Title band and hide Page Header band from page 1 but it's counter-productive. Every time I change the Page Header band I'll have to change the Title band too. By definition, Title band shows first but be free to change the position of the bands shouldn't be a war against convenience and practicality. But thanks anyway. I'll keep using hozawa suggestion.
